Hello!I've got a 'little' problem. Recently I've downloaded OOo 3.0 (after reinstallig my WinXp system). It's great, but while trying to install some useful (for me of course) extensions I realized that one of them can't be installed correctly – unknown error occurs I mean, it is in the extension manager, but there's a yellow triangle icon with an exclamation sign and the information about the error. The extension is “French Spacing (expace insecable)”.
I write a lot in French and without it I simply can't use French letters and it is absolutely unacceptable form me That's why I'm seeking any help and I can't find it Could anyone help me? I would appreciate it!French Spacing worked perfectly with the OOo 2.4 I don't want to get back to the 2.4 version. The newest one is much better and friendly. And the last thing. I work on the polish version of the OOo. I would change it to the French version, but I also work a lot in Polish.
Polish also have some “strange letters” and there is no such extensions like “French Spacing”, so I'm forced to use polish version.Someone somewhere suggested to check language settings in OOo. I did it and set French the default language, but it doesn't work. I have no idea where is the problemThanks in advance for help!Gramma. After a system crash I had the same problem. Installing OpenOffice 3.0.1 went without a problem, but upgrading previously installed extensions (under StarOffice 8, StarOffice 9 Beta, and OpenOffice 3.0.0) was not possible, these being flagged with the yellow exclamation mark. Eventually, after uninstalling versions here and there with no success I arrived at the following metbhod:I uninstalled each previous version of Open/StarOffice and rebooted. Then I manually deleted the Open/StarOffice directories in Program Files, and the directoryC:Documents and SettingsMy User NameApplication DataOpenOffice.orgI rebooted, then ran a Registry cleaner (I used CCleaner), asking it to remove all references to Open/Star Office and was eventually able to reinstall OO 3.0.1 and all the extensions I required.Note that uninstalling the directory C.OpenOffice.org will delete your customised dictionaries, so you might wish to save thse and any other customisation before uninstalling.
Yes, I have the newest version (1.4.1).Hagar, I followed your 'gentle' method (changing the name of the folder etc.) and actually it has solved just half of the problem. The yellow flag disappeared, but the extension still doesn't workAs far as I remember I'd been using two extensions: French dictionary, which works good and and the other one which automatically puts the space between word and some punctuations sings and also helps with writing accented letters. Now I'm wondering if I just have mixed up two different extensions. Maybe something else lets to use shortcuts like e' + Ctrl-F1 (this shortcut was one of the given. I didn't make it up). The most important for me are accented letters. Maybe I overlooked another extension and installed the wrong one?
Maybe there's another solution? OK, I got it. I disabled spacing (ver. Nero startsmart free download.

1.4.1).I also have a French dictionary (classic and reform, 3.1.0). The four left extensions are default for my OOo version (Polish dict, English dict, Russian hyphenation dict and German dict). That's all.I'm still trying to solve the problem on my own and today I downgraded my OOo to 2.4 version. Spacing worked perfectly, even when I upgraded back OOo to v3.0.1 ten minutes later Then I installed AllChars program hoping to get accented letters, but it's disabled now because of incomplete list of French letters. Let's leave spacing behind. We misunderstood each other.
I am not stupid and I know that the deactivated extension can't work. Writing that extension doesn't work I meant, after reactivation.Another thing. Your second quotation. I was referring to the actual state without connections to any extensions etc. Moreover you have already written that spacing has nothing to do with the accented letters, so I asked about macros considering them as an alternative solution for getting them (not spacing – I don't care about spacing as much as about letters). I hope you got it.

I have personally been using this software for close to a year and at our facility, we have been using the software for a number of years. This scheduling software is in the top that I have used personally. A huge pro for the software is the break out of the number spaces and from a scheduling perspective the alert of conflicts. The software while having an ease of use, is also flexible and has met every business need we have had. I would highly recommend this product for use in facility management andor event scheduling. The customer service has been extremely helpful the couple of times I have called in with either a technical question or an account question. I have been managing our church facility for nearly 14 years and while I have experimented with other software tools to help me, Cool Solutions Group is hands down the best out there.
Cost savings, better stewardship and higher production of our church’s support staff are a direct result of their Event, Work Order and HVAC management software. The relationship our church has with Cool Solutions Group is built on trust because we know they will always be there to support our mission and will continually innovate to do that.
